This online toolkit is designed for healthcare providers (HCPs) and provides a comprehensive guide to delivering culturally conscious care for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Its goal is to equip HCPs with the knowledge and skills needed to enhance communication, promote effective interactions, and  ensure equitable treatment for all patients.

The Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Patient Decision Aid is a resource designed to facilitate treatment discussions between clinicians and patients. This decision aid is for people living with moderate to severe IBD that might be starting an advanced therapy (i.e., biologics and targeted synthetic small molecules) or considering a switch to a new advanced therapy.

The decision aid is not intended to provide medical advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for a clinician's medical judgment. Instead, it provides information about IBD, advanced therapies, and questions to help patients reflect on their treatment preferences and goals.
