This online toolkit is designed for healthcare providers (HCPs) and provides a comprehensive guide to delivering culturally conscious care for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Its goal is to equip HCPs with the knowledge and skills needed to enhance communication, promote effective interactions, and  ensure equitable treatment for all patients.

The toolkit covers a range of topics including:

  • Language and communication
  • Access to health care
  • Stigma and mental health
  • Health beliefs and practices
  • Health literacy
  • Nutrition and diet

Additionally, a dedicated section with patient resources is included to support HCPs in assisting their patients.
